Burke's Extinct and Dormant Baronetcies lists sons of Thomas Aston and Bridget Harewell, but no daughter Ellen.
However, this website gives Ellen's father as Thomas Aston of Fole or Checkley in Staffordshire, again without evidence, although both Robert Lowthroppe and his wife Ellen mentioned a Richard Ashton in their wills.
At this point, there seems to be no evidence that Ellen's maiden name was Aston, so her maiden name should probably be changed to "Unknown."
The birth date used in this profle, 1511 is a guess, probably based on husband's birth in 1511.
Also disconnected from Ellen (Thomas) Aston as mother.
Ellen left a will dated 12 February 1572/3, and was buried on 8 March 1572/3 in Cherry Burton, Yorkshire, England.

Looks as if the circumstantial is only mention of a Richard "Ashton" in her and her husband's wills. Relationship unknown.
