Elizabeth was born about 1809. She was the daughter of Belcher Athearn and Keziah Dexter. She passed away about 1877.
On 28 Jun 1829, Elizabeth Athearn of Tisbury, Massachusetts, married Nathan Mayhew of Farmington, Maine, at Tisbury.[1]
The widow Elizabeth (Athearn) Mayhew died from an ovarian tumor at Yarmouth, Massachusetts, on 10 Oct 1877, with her age at her death recorded as 68 years, 7 months, 24 days.[2] She is buried beside her husband at the Milton Cemetery in Milton, Massachusetts.[3]
