Biography
He was born on 12 May 1801 in Wigan, Lancashire, England and his parents were Mary (Hill, 1766–1834) and James Atherton (1756–1811).
Aaron Atherton married Ann Barrow (1798–1866), daughter of George Barrow and Ann "Nancy" Birchall (1758–1821).
He died in January 1878 in Saddleworth, Yorkshire West Riding, England.
