Biography
Bessie Pearl Atkerson, daughter of Jefferson Davis Atkerson and Susan Alice (Caves) Atkerson, was born on 10 June 1905 at Fabies, Jackson County, Alabama, USA.[1]
She married John Shell Taylor, son of William Ool-skun-nah Taylor and Sarah Shell, on 16 Oct. 1920 at Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. John died on 16 Aug. 1921 at Stilwell, Adair, Oklahoma.
She married Grover Cleveland Patterson, son of John and Isabell (Collier) Patterson, on 30 Aug. 1930 at Sequoyah County , Oklahoma.
Bessie died on 17 Jan. 1935 at Sadie, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma and was buried at Copeland Cemetery, Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[2]
