Churchill Carter (1798-1870) is neither the husband of Elizabeth Gaston (d/o William Audley Gaston), nor the father of Elizabeth's children. The Churchill Carter who is the son-in-law of W.A. Gaston was mentioned in Gaston's will in 1814. It is very unlikely that the Churchill Carter who was born in 1798 was married by 16, nor is it likely that the William's Elizabeth was married by 14. Different time and place than Shakespeare! Also, Churchill Carter (1798) married to a Elizabeth "Castles" (who is a widow to a Cassels) in 1855. In addition, Elizabeth's son, John Gaston Carter (1822-1903) (who is a descendant of the Carters and Gastons) had a Biography Sketch written for him while he was still alive (1887). It stated that John's father (albeit unnamed) died in 1836. Lastly, the Tombstone on FindAGrave does not list a "Jr" engraved on it. For those reasons, Churchill Carter (1746) and Leah Moultrie (1757) are not the parents of Churchill Carter (1798-1870). We need to make Churchill (1798) and Churchill, husband of Elizabeth Gaston, separate people. Otherwise, it will be conflated. Thank you! :)

Hello, as part of Sep/Oct 2022 WiKi “Unsourced" Thon, I’ve been reviewing John Thomas Holliday (1914-1996) (Holliday-356) and Addie Lee Atkins (1914-2002) 9Atkins-7528). I’ve posted docs Sources found for Holliday; however, unable to attach John to spouse Atkins-7518. I’m not on Trusted List to add to her profile. Also, did see where she’s dau/o Bessie Wells (1894-1962) and Walter Lee Atkins (1886-1965). Addie’s siblings: Nellie Atkins . Thompson ("Nillis" on Census). Clarence Lucien Atkins, Fred Laverne Atkins. John’s parents; James Mack Holliday 91873-1969) and Cordelia ‘Sula’ Freeman (1883-1967). I stopped at actual doc profile entry until I hear from you about Addie’s trusted list update. Not a problem for me either way…either I can enter, or you can maintain, just helping gather data for ‘unsourced/orpgans’.

Hello Mary, thanks for trying to add photos links to a couple of my profiles (Wheeler-14268 and Wheeler-14267), however, those images are not visible to anyone, because of privacy settings.
They are private because you uploaded them to your own profile, and your profile is private.
It would have been better to upload them to either the profiles themselves, or to a FreeSpace page.
You are very kind, Mary. Thank you for thanking me for adding some Godsey family members. I really do appreciate you doing that. :) I'm glad I get to contribute to other people's histories as well as my own. Take care, Katie. :)
On the Tyng profile, I had gone in and set it per guidelines. When the information was retyped and sources relisted, it made it no longer be within guidelines. I would be more than happy to go in and reset it to proper, if you would like. If you would rather that is fine. Please let me know if you would prefer I do it.
