Mrs. Ella Traxler

MOUND (Special) - Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Ella Atkins Traxler, 66, who died Sunday in Mercy Hospital at Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness.

The Rev. Mack Boner officiated at services in the chapel of Old Southern Mortuary at Tallulah and burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery.

In addition to her husband, Ezra Traxler, she is survived by two sons. E. D. Traxler of Vicksburg and W. D. Traxler of Little Rock, Ark.; eight daughters, Mrs. Frank Thornhill of Transylvania, Mrs. John Tice of Mound. Mrs. E. C. Morrison of Talla Bena, Mrs. O. W. Fife of Silver Springs, Fla., Mrs. H. M. Wicker of Midland, Tex., Mrs. Oldrich Striz of Strawn, Tex., Mrs. Flora Bell Smith of Mound and Mrs. Jack Forest of Vicksburg, 27 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Willie Drekeen, Ray Goings, Kenneth Goings, Jerry Goings, Felton Townsend and Mack Tice.^[2]
