Obituary Mrs. Bernie Barker

Ashford. Mrs. Bernie Atkins Barker, 69, died yesterday at her home here after a long illness. The lifelong Boone County resident was a member of Mah?? Chapel Methodist Church at Asford. She was the widow of W C Barker.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Corrine Lamp of Ashford. Miss Alice Barker, Mrs Bessie Ramsey and Mrs. Gwen Cooper of South Charleston, Mrs Carla Fields of Chesapeake, and Mrs Anna Raines of Omaha, Neb: four sons, Virgil and Elliott, both of Ashford, Jess of Charleston, and the Reb Ellis Barker of Decota; two sisters. Mrs Bessie Halstead and Mrs Queed McIlhattan, both of Charleston; 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at Johnson Funeral Home at Marmet.
