William was born in Spofforth, Yorkshire 1806 & baptised William Atkinson, 6 April 1806, Spofforth, All Saints, Yorkshire the son of William Atkinson of Spofforth Haggs by Catharine daughter of Simeon Whitehead. [1]
The marriage of William Atkinson & Susanna Walsh was conducted on 30 March 1829, Otley, All Saints, Yorkshire. [2]
A blacksmith in 1851 living in Mill Lane, Horton Bradford, Yorkshire with wife Susannah & children. [3]
