“Sacred to the memory of Ezra, son of John and Ann Atkinson, of Owlerton, who died December 21st 1857, aged 3 years

also Clara Ann, their daughter, who died December 30th 1857, aged 1 year

also Albert, their son who died February 27th 1858, aged 12 years

”Jesus gathered his own lambs

also Ann Elizabeth their daughter who died April 7th 1860 aged 10 months

also Maurice, their son aged 15 years and 9 months

also William their son aged 13 years and 4 months

who perished by the bursting of the Bradfield Reservoir March 12th 1864

also of the above named John Atkinson who departed this life May 5th 1884 aged 67 years

also of Ann, relict of the above, who departed this life August 3rd 1884 aged 65 years”
