Biography

Edgar was born in 1891. He is the son of Ordolph Atkinson and Perrillah Martin. In 1900, the family was living in Highland Park in Montgomery County, Alabama.[1] By 1910, the family had moved to Montgomery in Montgomery County.[2]

Edgar registered for the WWI draft in Arkansas. He was noted as being married at the time, and wording in the newspaper business for Gordon Circulation Co out of Frederick, Oklahoma. His description was listed as medium height, slender build, with blue eyes and light brown hair.[3]

Edgar passed away in 1949. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Montgomery, Alabama, where his parents and siblings are buried.He shares a headstone with his sister, Eula.[4]
