Biography

Son of John Wesley & Sadie Loraine McCants Atkinson - he married Benita Louisa "Bonnie" Brey in OK - parents of Jerry - he served in the US Air Force in both Korea & Viet Nam - he is buried at Maple Grove Cem, Seminole, Seminole, OK.

Joseph Richard Atkinson was my father as I am Jerry Atkinson, my father enlisted in WW11 at the age of 17 and was excepted into the Navy, during the Korean war he enlisted with the Air Force and was a member of S.A.C., during the Vietnam war he was in training with the first air calvary when he had a heart attack. He was a building contractor just as my grandfather was and built many homes in Seminole County.
