Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1800. She was the daughter of John Atkinson and Elizabeth Borton.[1]

She was a Quaker.[2]

Elizabeth B. Atkinson married William French on March 3, 1824, in New Jersey, USA.[1] They lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[3][4] They had eight children:

  2. John Eli French (1828–1904)
  3. Charles Strickland French (1829–1909)
  4. William H. French (1832–1891)
  5. George French (1833–1834) Died Young
  6. James R. French (1836–1905)
  7. Elizabeth Atkinson French (1838–1838) Died Young
  8. Martha Hazelton French (1839–1925)

She died of "consumption of lungs" and was buried 5 Oct 1864 in Fair Hill Burial Ground in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA..[2][5][6][7]
