Biography

Lessie Elizabeth Atkinson was born on June 26, 1915, in Weogufka, Coosa, Alabama. She was the daughter of Joseph Atkinson and Annie Lee Lessley. View photo

In 1920, the family was living in Coose County, Alabama.[1] In 1930, Lessie was still living with her family in Coosa County.[2] In 1940, Lessie was working as a bookkeeper for TVU, and living with her parents.[3]

Lessie Atkinson and Robert Oris Hutchens married on October 12, 1940, in Election Precinct 29 Alabama City, Etowah, Alabama, United States[4]
