Biography

James Burl Atkinson Sr was born on February 13, 1909 in West Virginia, United States. His parents were Harvey Clarence Atkinson (1884-1960) and Lillie Dovie (Blosser) Atkinson (1877-1965). His sister was Nettie Pearl (Atkinson) Dunaway (1906-2000).

James died on September 28, 1983 in Mount Zion, Calhoun, West Virginia aged 74.
