George was born in 1867. He would appear to be the child of George Bullock Atkinson 1831-1913 and Eloisa Helen Barston 1837-1929, both from Stamford, Lincolnshire. They were married on 24 Jan 1867 In Peterborough, and George was born in Lambeth, London, later that year.
George has at least 2 siblings - Ernestine Helen 1872-1965 no children.

He was a medical practitioner, and served in the RAMC as a Captain. He passed away in 1917. The entry in Lives of the First World War says he drowned, ?while serving. His grave is in Ford Park Cemetery in Plymouth.
