Sarah was born circa 1781[1][2]. She was the daughter of Robert Atkinson and Ann Brown, who emigrated from Yorkshire, settled at Francklin Manor, NS then in Sackville, Westmorland County[3]
She married Richard Shepherd Bowser, the son of Thomas Bowser and Mary Layton of Sackville, New Brunswick[3][4][1][2]. Their ten children included:
At least 6 others, for a total of 10[4]. Richard had 8 brothers, so its difficult to tell from these sources which Bowsers were the children of Richard and Sarah, and which were nieces and nephews.
