Frances was born about 1730. She is listed in her father Thomas Atkinson will as Frances not Margaret Adams

There are 2 Benjamin Adams. Both left wills. The one that died in 1783 in North Carolina's wife is named Frances. The one that died 1795 in Southampton, Virginia's wife is named Margaret. Someone added Margaret to Frances which is making the profiles seem like the same person.

Frances married Benjamin Adams, son of Benjamin Adams and Agnes Ezell, in 1751. Benjamin Adams was born in 1730 in Queensborough, Sussex, Virginia, and died in Oct 1783 in Mount Creek, Rutherford, North Carolina,

Frances Atkinson, daughter of Thomas Atkinson, Sr. and Elizabeth ---, of Albermarle Parish, Sussex Co., Va. Records of Baptism show Benjamin and Frances had children between 1752 and 1773.

In 1774 Benjamin and wife, Frances, sold the 100 acres of land in Sussex given to Benjamin in the 1756 will of his father.

In 1778 Benjamin and Frances Adams sold the 150 acres of land in Sussex given to Benjamin by Thomas Atkinson, Jr. in his (Thomas-#39;) will of 1769; but the deed shows Benjamin and Frances Adams living in Tryon County, North Carolina in 1778 when this land was sold.
