Mrs. Agnes Helen Attaway Argoe, 62, widow of Frank D. Argoe of 1930 Marion St., died Tuesday at her home after a short illness.
She was born in Aiken County, a daughter of the late Millard Banks and Edith Gregory Attaway.
She was a member of Park Street Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Nellie) Dennis of Lexington, and Mrs. Nathan (Barbara) Benson of Raleigh, N. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Barber of Columbia and Mrs. Monroe Day of Lexington; three brothers, Raymond C. Attaway of Ocoee, Fla. , Andrew G. Attaway of Seattle, Wash., and Wilbur Attaway of Columbia; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
