Biography

Sheila was born in 1924 in Durham, England, the daughter of Robert Attewell and Alice Shepherd Attewell.

Sheila served in the British Royal Air Force during World War II where she met her husband who was serving in the US Army Air Corps. They were married in England in 1945. She immigrated to America in 1946. The couple raised their family in North Dakota.

She passed away in 2015 in North Dakota at the age of 91.
