Biography

John was born in Cowfold, Sussex in 1863. He was the son of William Attwater and Mercy Walder.

As a young man, John worked in a grocery shop and later on he became a Commercial Traveler for a wholesale grocery company.

On 30 August 1887, John married Kate Jupp in Petworth, Sussex and they would become the parents of 10 children, 9 of whom survived at 1911.

John passed away in Brighton Sussex on 25 February 1928 at about age 64.
