Biography
Joseph H. Attwood was born in July 1862 in Missouri.[1] Joseph's father was born in Canada and his mother was born in Ohio.[1]
Joseph married Lucy Burrous.[2] [1]
The couple had several children, including daughters Nellie (b. Dec 1886 in Kansas), Susie, Annie (b. Jan 1891 in Kansas) and Josie (b. May 1894 in Kansas), and son Henry (b. Jul 1897 in Kansas).[1] In 1900, the family was residing together in Empire City, Kansas, where Joseph was working as a blacksmith and the children were attending school.[1]
