Biography

"He studied Theology in the Seminary of this College (Yale), and was ordained as Pastor in Middlebury, Conn., October 20, 1830. In October 1845, he was dismissed from this charge. After this he resided for several years in Newtown, Conn., and in Southbury, Conn., preaching to the Congregational churches in those towns. The latter days of his life were spent in West Haven, in the town of Orange, in this State." (Obituary Record)
