Abraham ATWATER was born 10 Nov 1716 in New Haven, Connecticut. He died 4 Jan 1786 in Cheshire, New Haven, Connecticut. Abraham married Mary BALL on 1738.
When the Revolutionary war broke out, Abraham left for war with son Isaac, leaving sons Samuel and Timothy to guard their sisters and mother. Son Samuel later followed.
Son Isaac was killed at Kip's Bay, NY.
