Biography

When Kenneth Wade Atwell was born on October 2, 1937, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, his father, Kenneth, was 34 and his mother, Ethel, was 36. He had one brother and one sister. Kenneth Wade Atwell enlisted in the army July 1, 1955, when he was 17 years old. He served in the Army in unit Co B. 1st Medth Bn 32nd. His discharge date from service was June 16, 1958. He transferred to the Reserves. He died on November 8, 1958, not even five months after he left the military, in his hometown at the age of 21, He was buried in Cheshire, Massachusetts.
