In 1880, Sarah was a year old with a newborn brother living with her parents in Rich Valley District, Smyth, Virginia, United States.[1]
She married Alexander Lee Leftwich on 23 July 1892, in Smyth, Virginia, United States.
They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 7 daughters.[2]
In 1900 & 1910, the family was living in Rocky Gap, Bland, Virginia, United States.[3][4]
She died on 7 December 1915, in Roanoke, Virginia, United States, at the age of 38 of nephritis,[5] and was buried in Coburn-Wilson Family Cemetery, Round Bottom, Bland, Virginia, United States.[6]
