Daniel, son of Stephen Atwood and Abigail Dunham, was born circa 1662.[1] He probably died after 28 Feb 1732/3.
Daniel's wife is not known; children (surname ATWOOD):[1]
He was living at Eastham, Barnstable County, MA, in 1696 according to a list of inhabitants there.[1] On 28 Feb 1732/33 Daniel ATWOOD Sr and Daniel Atwood Jr deeded "several pieces of upland, meadow and swamp in Eastham at a place called halfway ponds" to Ralph Smith.[3]
This Daniel Atwood should not be confused with Deacon Daniel Wood (abt.1648-abt.1719) of Topsfield who married Sarah (Andrews) Wood (1658-1714). Topsfield records show Daniel and Sarah Wood having children Daniel b. 15 Aug 1675, David b. 18 Feb 1677, John b. 25 Mar 1780, Abigail b. 3 Oct 1684, Mercy b. 27 Oct 1689, and Jacob b. 30 Aug 1691.[4]
