Biography

There are no Haché's listed on the 1818 survey of Cape Breton, but the clue lies in the Haché-Gallant hyphenation. It appears the family was going by "Galland". Listed are;^[1]

Mathurin Hachet and Marie AuCoin have 2 children attributed to them in the parish register at St. Michael's, but it appears Marie passed away shortly after the birth of these 2 boys;
