Biography

In the 1860 census P (age 25) was in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

In the 1870 census Pierre (age 35), Day Laborer, was in Ward 5, St John the Baptist, Louisiana.^[2]

Pierre married Julie Entremont on 2 February 1867.^[3]

Pierre Aubert died on 12 Jul 1873 at age 42 years. He was the last of the Aubert brothers from L'Ubac, Jausiers, France. Isidore died on 25 Jul 1862 at Vicksburg while serving in the Confederate Army. Jean-Baptiste died 6 Jun 1866, and Jean-Louis died 18 Jun 1866, and Jacques died 26 Aug 1868. All were merchants. He had married Miss Julia Entremont in 1867 and she and two children survive. His obituary is published in Le Meschacebe, 19 Jul 1873, p 2.He is listed in the index to St John the Baptist Church Funeral Register IV, page 251. ^[4]
