François Aubin was born and baptized on 18 December 1789 in Sainte-Thérèse, son of François Aubin and of Marie Hote[1] ; François Aubin died on 22 December 1789 and was buried on the 23rd in Saint-Eustache, being given the age of 6 months on the record, obvious clerical error, the child was 6 days old, baptized in another parish.[2]
This boy had incorrectly been attached to Joseph Lambert dit Aubin and his wife, and assigned the location of St-Eugène for place of birth. There is no such location in this era, St-Eugène with other added names are created much later. The record attached is faint, and is actually for St-Eustache. It was wrongly read as a baptism.[3]
