Lula, born March 25, 1906 in Oklahoma, is the daughter of Charles Bradford Aubrey and Lillie Mae Talkington.
She married Jesse Coleman Cooley in 1921. Their children are:
- Herschel Duane born 1924
- Ruby Louise born 1926
- Bobby Ray born 1932
