Peter Achenbach, widower, of Helderbergh, and Eva Vosburg, widow of Jacobus, were married at Helderbergh, Jerusalem, or New Salem, in Albany County, New York, on 25 January 1797. The marriage was officiated by Reverend Harmanus Van Huysen, who served the Reformed Dutch churches in these communities from 1794 to 1824.[1]
