DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Peter by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Peter:

Alcromback-2 and Auchampaugh-12 appear to represent the same person because: same guy, wildly different spelling, of course
Auchenbach-14 and Auchampaugh-12 appear to represent the same person because: darn alternate spellings
I approved the merge. While there are some advantages to having my last name, there are certainly downsides, and this type of research is certainly one. Every time I think I've seen all the ways it could be spelled, I find some census worker somewhere has made up another one...  :)
