Joseph Charles Auclair was born and baptized on 4 Oct 1734 in Saint-Charles-Borromée parish of Charlesbourg, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Louis Auclair and Marie Roy dite Ody. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Joseph Bédard, son of Jacques Bédard, and Marie Catherine Parant, daughter of the late Jean Parant. The officiating priest was Le Boulanger.[1]
Marriage
Charles Oclere married Marie Catherine Vacher, daughter of Guillaume Vacher and the late Marie Catherine Dupuy, on 21 Sep 1753 in Paroisse Immaculée-Conception of Trois-Rivières.[2]
Death and Burial
Charles Auclair passed away on 29 Sep 1805 being given the age of around 70 years on the record. His burial was the following day in Notre-Dame parish cemetery of Québec, Bas-Canada. [File states: No wife named in the act][3]
