Edna dies on April 10, 1969, in Baton Rouge, LA Edna's burial was on 12 Apr 1969 at the Assumption Catholic Church cemetery in Plattenville, Assumption Parish, LA.
"BLANCHARD - Edna Aucoin Blanchard on Thursday, April 10, 1969 at 2:10 P.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, Baton Rouge. She was 87, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Assumption Parish. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph...Religious services were held at Assumption Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 1969. Interment in church cemetery." Assumption Pioneer 4/17/1969.[5][9]
