Lucy Aucoin is a descendant of an Acadian
Lucille Aucoin, daughter of Hubert Aucoin and Marie Bois, was born about 1828. She died in Nova Scotia about 1911. [citation needed]
The census recorded that she could neither read nor write and that she was called Lucie.[citation needed]
