Anne Aucoin was born 13 July 1739. She was a daughter of Martin Aucoin and Elisabeth Boudrot. She was baptized the day she was born at Saint-Charles-des-Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. Her godparents were Pierre Leblanc and Anne Terriot.[1][2]
She was the second daughter named Anne born to these parents. The first Anne, born in 1734,[2] must have died by July 1739.
She was married, about 1760, to Francois Savoie, son of Charles Savoie and Françoise Martin. [3]
They were recorded on a census in Pennsylvania, in 1763, with 3 children. [4]
At the end of the Seven Years’ War in 1763, thousands of Acadians detained in the Anglo-American colonies were freed. The majority emigrated to Québec or to French-controlled territories such as the Antilles, France, Saint- Pierre-et-Miquelon and Louisiana between the years 1763 and 1769. François and Anne chose to emigrate to Saint-Domingue, a French Colony (now Haiti). Acadian exiles suffered many hardships there, because of the difficult working conditions, the climate and tropical diseases.
Anne passed away in 1764. She was buried on 16 August 1764 at Port-au-Prince, Saint-Domingue. The date of death was not mentioned in the register and she was given the age of about 26 years. Her mother's name is Elisabeth Hebert instead of Boudrot in the burial record. [5][3]

White in Sep 2019 states:"In the case of Anne's mother's maiden name, the error may have come from the fact that Anne had so many cousins on that side named Hébert; three of her mother's four sisters were married to Héberts, and altogether they produced some thirty-five children. However that may be, it is clear that the only possible parents for François Savoie's wife are Martin Aucoin and Élisabeth Boudrot." -

There are indications that Francois (age about 23) was separated from his parents in the expulsion and was deported to Georgia in 1755. The next year he may have made his way to New York where the rest of his family were (Jehn p. 26).

Aucoin-823 and Aucoin-311 appear to represent the same person because: DGFA draft in Aucoin-823 shows that this is the same person, married to François Savoie, and the date of death 5 August is a typo. The burial was on 16 August, (sourced in Aucoin-823), the date of death not mentioned in record.
