DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pierre Simon by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA test-takers in his direct paternal line.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
David, possibly, though the information included on this profile seems to be for a Charles Boudreau, not Pierrot Aucoin. Charles married a daughter of Pierre Aucoin and Luce Babin but there is no spouse on the profile. The Luce Babin you reference did marry Pierre Simon dit Pierrot Aucon who was born in 1765. It would be a bit unusual for Luce to marry a man who was born 15 years before her father, but not impossible.
