Biography
Marguerite Audet was born on January 14, 1776 in Saint-Charles de Bellechasse, Province de Québec, daughter of Antoine Audet dit Lapointe and Marguerite Lecours.[1]
Marguerite (20) married Etienne Gontier (25) (born on May 8, 1771 in Saint-Charles de Bellechasse; son of François Gonthier and Marie Reine Lemieux) on January 10, 1797 in Saint-Charles-Borromée, Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. [2]Their children were:
- Marie Gonthier (1805–<1884)
- Vital Gontier (1814– )
Marguerite died on March 31, 1855 in Saint-Raphaël-de-Bellechasse, Canada-Est, aged 79.[3]
