Nicolas Hode was born and baptized on 13 Sep 1672 in Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans, son of Nicolas Audet and of Madeleine Després. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Mathurin Dubé and Françoise Grenier wife of Robert Boulay. The officiating priest was B. Duplein.[1][2]

Marriage
Nicolas Audet married Marie Louise Chabot, daughter of the late Mathurin Chabot and Marie Mésangé, on 15 Apr 1697 in Saint-Laurent, Île d'Orléans. In the presence of known witnesses Joseph Chabot and François Chabot. The celebrant priest was Father Bonaventure and Father Pierre wrote the record.[3]

LaPointe-98 and Audet-57 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same wife, very close birth dates etc.
