COUNTRY NEWS., New Zealand Herald, Volume XLIX, Issue 14976, 25 April 1912 COROMANDEL. [by TELEGRAPH.—own correspondent.] Coromandel, Wednesday. A double wedding took place at Christ Church to-day. The church was prettily decorated for the occasion, and the service was conducted by the Ven Archdeacon, Colder. The contracting parties were the Rev. E. Fletcher (vicar of Coromandel) and Miss C. T. Audley (eldest daughter of Mr. Audley), also Mr. R. Parlour, of Morrinsville, and Miss E. Fletcher (youngest daughter of M E. Fletcher, and sister of the vicar). In both instances the bride was given away by her father. The bridesmaids were Misses Fletcher (sister of one of the brides), and Charter, and T. Audley (youngest sister of one of the brides), and K. Bull. Mr. Belgrave was best man to the Rev. E. Fletcher, and Mr. Roberts officiated in a similar capacity for Mr. Parlour. After the ceremony the bridal party and friends were driven to the Coromandel Hotel to partake of the wedding breakfast. The health of " The. Brides and Bridegrooms" was.proposed by Mr. T. W.Rhodes, M.P. The ceremony of inducting the vicar (Rev. E. Fletcher) was performed in Christ Church last evening, the Ven. Archdeacon Calder (vicar of All Saints, Ponsonby ) conducting the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. F. W. Young, vicar of Northcote,. There was a large congregation.
