WEDDING REPORT. Wadsley—Audley. Wedding At Melbourne. A marriage which took place quietly in Melbourne on Feb. 24 was that of Arthur David, younger son of Mr and Mrs A. E. Wadsley, New Town, and Dorothy Joan, only daughter of Mr A. Audley, Sterling St., Kew (V). The ceremony was performed by the Rev F. H. Jenkin at the Methodist Church, Highbury Grove, Kew. Mr Audley gave away his daughter. The bride and bridegroom were unattended. The bride wore a smart suit of a soft shade of blue, buttoned high to the neck. Her hat and accessories were white, and she carried white water-lilies. Immediate relatives were entertained at the home of the bride's father. Miss A. Audley (aunt of the bride) wore a green figured frock and matching hat. Mrs Wadsley (mother of the bridegroom), who, with her husband and daughter Margery, flew to Melbourne for the wedding, wore black relieved with white and a black and white hat. When Mr and Mrs David Wadsley return from their honeymoon at Lakes Entrance (V). they will reside at 53 Wellington St., Kew.

DEATH NOTICE. WADSLEY.—Dorothy Joan (Joan) of Willsmere Kew, died peacefully at Freemasons Hospital on Sunday Aug. 6, 2006. Adored wife of David (dec.). Loved and loving mother of Pat, Philippa and Richard. Loved and loving grandmother of Adrienne, Alexandra, Andrew and Julia. Loved and loving mother-in-law of John and Philip. Honorary grand mother of Effa, Simon and Zak. A gracious lady who will be sadly missed by all. A private family funeral has been held.
