Mrs. Vera L. Elridge

Services will be held Monday, Aug. 18, at the Bennett Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, for Mrs. Vera L. Elridge, 51, 425 Spruce St., Clearfield. She died yesterday at the Clearfield Hospital at 9 a. m.

She was born in Clearfield Nov. 16,1923, in Clearfield, a daughter of Alfred L. and Orissa (Peoples) Aughenbaugh. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clearfield.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, and these children: Mary Jo, Janice and Terri, all at home; Dennis of Morgantown, W. Va. and William of Clearfield. Two grandchildren also survive.

Ten brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Pearl Guelich, Mrs. Helen Walters, Mrs. Avanelle Rowles, Mrs. Zoe Duckett and Mrs. Wava Gardner, all of Clearfield; Mrs. Betty Rougeux of Youngstown, Ohio; Calvin Aughenbaugh and Wayne Aughenbaugh, both of Spring Valley; Cecil Aughenbaugh of Niles, Ohio; and Orville Aughenbaugh of Clearfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Connie Jean, and a brother, Raymond.

Rev. James Davis will officiate at the services and interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p. m. Sunday, and on Monday until time of services.
