Augot, 91, a long-time Lawrence resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 17,2008 at the Brooksby Village Renisance Garden in Peabody. He was born in Rencountre East, New Foundland, Canada to the late Francis and Anne (Oakey) Augot. He came to this area at the age of 6 and graduated from Reading High School. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II. Mr. Augot worked for the Nissen Bakery Co for over 25 years and was a 40-year member of the Teamsters Union. Before retiring to Brooksby Village,he and his wife lived in Salisbury. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene G. (Groele) Augot also of Peabody; a son Bernard Jr. and his wife Elaine of Melrose; three daughters and their husbands, Gail and Mark Kelley of Braintree, Susan and William Werner of Derry, N.H., Marianne and Robert Fleischman of Concord, N.H., eight grandchildren, Alexander, Marisa, Dennis, Danica, Samantha, Eric, Sarah, Emma and several nieces and nephews.
