Biography

Maria was a daughter of Jan Auke and Helena Reijerse (aka Reyerse), baptized on 8 March 1710 in the Reformed Dutch Church of New York, with witnesses Cornelus Reijerse and Sara Hanse (her maternal uncle and his wife). [1]

Research Notes

This profile, as I found it, had an erroneous birth date of 8 March 1700. New York Dutch Church baptism records have her birth on 8 March 1710. This is a simple transcription error that appears to have come from The Ryerson Genealogy, page 3. Smith-62120 00:31, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
