Biography
Bertha Ethel Auld was born on 1 May 1876 at Keota, Keokuk County, Iowa, USA.[1] She appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in the household of her parents, John M. Auld and Elizabeth (Love) Auld at Keota, Keokuk County, Iowa, USA.[2] She appeared on the census of 1885 in the household of her parents at Keota, Keokuk County, Iowa.[3] Her parents were divorced before 1900 and she appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 in the household of her father at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.[4]
She married Truman Alvah Griffin, son of William Addison Griffin and Mary Jane (Herlocker), on 1 May 1901 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.[5]
Bertha died on 19 March 1902 at Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois,[6][1] at age 25 and was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington, Washington County, Iowa.[7]
