Research Notes

  • On Ancestry.com, there are photocopies of a microfilm of pages from the Luzerne County Tax Records from 1820, 1821, and 1823 listing 'Poor Children in Eaton Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania'. John Aumick's three children: Julia, Simon, and John are listed in 1821 here. They are also on the list for 1823; Julia is listed as six years old here.
  • Some family records indicate that the son Charles was adopted. His memorial on FindAGrave indicates that his father was Clark Harding. [7]
