Biography

Christiana (or Christian) was born about 1763. She married John Goulstone, who died in 1812.

She is recorded in the Saltford Land Tax Assessments c1820 as "Widow Goulstone, tenant of half an orchard owned by Ann Hiscox." In 1830 she is "C goulstone, owner of orchard occupied by Richmond Hill (husband of hre grand-daughter Eliza). In 1839 she is living at 43 Star Street, London, with son WIlliam. In the 1841 census she is at 32 St John West, Marylebone, where she died of "old age" on 27 July 1845, aged 82.

A baptism record for 26 Aug 1810 seems to be Christiana's, which would mean she was baptised as an adult, along with several of her children.
