Thomas Austen married Mary I Tilbrook in 1917, registered to Kingston,[2] on 25 November 1917 at St Peter & St Paul's Upper Teddington, as Mary Isabel Tilbrook, widow, hospital nurse, daughter of James Chandler, resident of Cottage Hospital, Teddington, to Thomas Austen, widower, munitions worker, of 45 Queen's Rd, Teddington, son of Albert Austen, witnessed by Stanley Edward Tilbrook and Rosa May Tilbrook.[3] In 1921: Thomas Austen born 1863 in Kent, England lived at Teddington, Kingston, Surrey.
