Biography

Martin Powell Austin was born March 27, 1872 to William Austin and Permelia Hollis in Alabama.

In the 1880 United States Census, he was living in Lamar, Alabama.[1]

In the 1900 United States Census, he was living in Vernon, Alabama.[2]

In the 1920 United States Census, he was living in Pine Springs, Alabama.[3]

In the 1930 United States Census, he was living in Vernon, Alabama.[4]

He died, at the age of 79, on October 19, 1951 in Winfield, Alabama.[5] He is buried at the Wofford Cemetery, Vernon, Lamar County, Alabama.[6]
