Biography
When Frances Austin was born on March 6, 1792, in Johnston, North Carolina, her father, John, was 33, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 32. She married James F Thompson on October 26, 1809, in Jackson, Georgia. They had 12 children in 26 years. She died on November 11, 1854, in Walton, Georgia, at the age of 62, and was buried in Monroe, Georgia.
