I am a retired geologist in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I currently volunteer at the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Museum and Archives, mostly cataloging their photo collections. I spend my spare time bicycling, going for walks with my friend Kathy and her dog, reading or looking after my Mustang "Bullitt" when the weather permits. I enjoy travelling - usually going on tours of Canadian battlefields in Europe. It is through researching my family's military involvement that I ended up becoming interested in general family genealogy as a hobby (useful on our long cold, winters).
Have you taken a DNA test for genealogy? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

P.S. If you ever get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree email, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.
